Syndrela Das and Sutirtha Mukherjee Reach WTT Contender Almaty Women's Doubles Final

Syndrela Das and Sutirtha Mukherjee have advanced to the WTT Contender Almaty women's doubles final after beating compatriots Diya Chitale and Yashaswini Ghorpade in the semifinals 3-1 (11-6, 12-10, 8-11, 11-6). The West Bengal third seeds took 33 minutes for the win. They will face Japan's Miu Hirano and Miyuu Kihara in the final. The Japanese won their previous encounters. In the quarterfinals, they beat local wild cards Darya Fu and Mariya Lukyanova 3-1 (11-5, 11-3, 10-12, 11-7) in 24 minutes.
